Featuring a slide-lock mechanism, a corrosion-resistant VG-10 stainless steel blade, fully-profiled G10, Micarta or carbon fiber scales and a deep-carry, reversible pocket clip, the Carter is the most advanced knife we’ve ever made. It's slim and lightweight, but fully capable in any environment. It's also fully ambidextrous, and the pocket clip can easily be removed. The thumb disc design means that the Carter is easy to use with one hand, so it's at the ready in all situations. The Carter is going to immediately earn its spot in your EDC rotation.

Form and Function.

The Carter features slide-lock technology, a first for us here at TJB. The slide-lock is secure, easy to understand and ambidextrous. It’s designed for use with one hand, and has been a staple mechanism of everyday carry knives for a long time.

Designed & Made Better

The VG-10 stainless steel blade has great edge-retention and corrosion resistance. VG-10 was designed to handle the abuse of the culinary world, but because of its amazing characteristics, it’s found a home in the world of everyday carry. The Carter is available with G10 scales or in natural Micarta; both are fully sculpted and feel amazing in hand. The opening style uses a symmetrical thumb-disc on top of the blade, making for easy, affirmative one-handed opening. The deep-carry pocket clip is our deepest ever. It’s easily reversible (using a Torx T6, not included).

The Carter is available in regular and XL sizes, so it will fit hands and jobs of all sizes. If you are looking for something that is discreet and rides easily in any pocket all day, stick with the standard Carter. If you've got bigger hands, and need a full-size knife for hardcore work day in and day out, the Carter XL is for you.

    Reliable helper

    So…I’ve been using this knife pretty much every day at work for the last two years.

    Simply put…it’s one of the best knife I own.

    I own the M size and it’s absolutely perfect. I love the shape and everything about the design.

    Most importantly it still works as good as the day I received it. Nothing got loose, everything holds up.

    Just sharpen it once in a while and it will do you a perfect service.

    I’m about to order a second one just becouse I like the new colour variants.

    If you’re thinking about buying a reliable EDC, just go for it.

    Finally hot my Carter!

    A little small

    Nothing against the knife, my hands just do not fit it well, just know if your a bigger human, I am 6’9” 240 with big hands this knife will not be super useful
