The Carter Wooden Knife Kit is the 4th in our annual series of projects with Jameson Woodworks, in Belton, South Carolina. We’ve done these kits every holiday season for the past four years, but they have always been available as a gift-with-purchase only. This year, we are making the kit available to all. These kits are really fun, assemble quickly without serious tools, and have a really nice and snappy action. It’s full-size EDC fun for all. They come in a very gift-able metal tin, and they’re one of our most popular stocking stuffers. Grab a few for the TJB lovers in your life.

I'm really excited to give this to my kid. It's a great "first knife" for little ones to show them how they work and the different parts involved. I hope it's the start to an interest in how lots of different things operate and function!

This is the perfect “first pocket knife” for a young boy. And props to the James Brand for designing this. It’s just like Dad’s!
